“Satay” Malacca has definitely upgraded and improvised their version over the years and become “Satay Celup” Its actually a combination of Lok-Lok and steamboat where the only difference is that you drop all those ingredients into a hot boiling pot of satay gravy instead.
Similar to having buffet steamboat, just take the silver tray and proceed to the food counter then pick whichever you want, ingredients selection varies such as fish ball, pork ball, pork innards, pork slice, bacon, brown squid, crab stick, lobster ball and many more.
Each stick of satay celup consists of a flat rate (RM0.90), other premium ingredients will be charged for much higher prices and indicated with a different color on the edge of the stick (red, blue, black).
Once back to your seat, the satay gravy should be boiling and its the best timing to drop everything off and let it sits for like 2-3 mins and you can also order a plate of bread and cucumber slices RM1.50 and topped it off with a dashing scoop of satay gravy right from the pot.
