Malacca one of the famous snack "Longkang Siham" ("Longkang" is the homophony of "ditch", here it means "ditch". ''Siham" is the homonym of "clam" in Cantonese, which is "Fresh clams", "blood cockles" or "mud cockles".) Of course, you have to come for a pilgrimage. After all, this is also a characteristic of the food culture in the back lanes of Malaysia!

Followed the GPS to Jalan Bunga Raya, and will easily found the food stall hidden in the alley. There are two stalls selling the same food. The first Tong Bee stall which said that the owner is one-armed and also the first stall to run Longkang Siham (but I think second stall will be more nicer ). The second stall is Capitol Seafood, and related advertisements are also posted on the walls. Capitol Long Kang Siham well-known with their special sources and their main dishes which is (Siham, LaLa Tauhu Rojak and Sotong Kangkung).




Someone had said that eating in the back alley against the ditch would have some bad smell, but every time I go did not smell any smell (maybe weather factor?) but the food smells in the air, and the environmental sanitation is very attractive. The owner also carefully prepared a large bucket of lime water for diners to wash their hands. If you ask me what to eat in Malacca? Then I would definitely recommend you Capitol Longkang Siham.
