Muar Food Trip
When you come to Muar, you must come to their Muar Gljtton Street to hunt their street food! But with this Covid-19 pandemic, all the food hawkers are move-in the shop and would not be allowed to locate at the roadside.
In Muar Gljtton Street, you can found a lot of Muar local food like otak-otak, fried egg with oyster, Teo Chew Kuih, and others.
Teo Chew Kuih the store has started over 50 years and now with the third generation. Their TeoChew Kuih is mainly salty and sweet. They use green beans to make the sweet kuih and Cha Shao will be salty kuih.
Address: Jalan Haji Abu, Muar.
This Hainanese curry chicken is located in the Lushan Teahouse, at the end of Glutton Street. There are big signs hanging outside, so don’t be afraid to find it! The Hainanese curry rice here is characterized by combining curry sauce and marinade。 The owner also added salted fish to the rice, so it tastes changeable, a bit salty, and slightly spicy and sweet. The Hainanese curry chicken with curry and marinade combined with rice is a perfect match!

This fried oyster also one of my favorite in this glutton street. some of the fried oyster store they put a lot of potato flour, but this hawker is different. you can taste the strong egg flavor and also their fresh juicy oyster. with their special chili sauce, you will be surprised.
