Tengkera Duck Noodles

 


While in Melaka, people may know the chicken rice ball, satay-celup, coconut-shake, and others. But do you heard before Tengkera Ducks Noodles?

In Melaka, there are a lot of stores that have duck noodles but some of that are very normal, and hard to find the good ones. So today I will introduce one of the Melaka local food Tengkera Duck Noodles. 




In Tengkera Duck Noodles Restaurant, the owner has offered Kuey Teow, Noodles, and Bee Hoon to their customer. If you like Kuey Teow and Noodles, you can ask the owner to mix it up for you. The dark noodles will be sprinkled with some shredded duck meat and bean sprouts and then topped with a thick marinade, and a bowl of marinated duck soup is attached. Can make you eat more delicious and satisfying! πŸ‘Œ




They also have marinated egg, dried tofu, Brine intestine, Marinated pork tongue, Stewed duck wings Stewed duck gizzard, and Stewed duck feet. You can add-on in your duck noodles. It was very delicious!

    I grew up eating this! This is fully recommended to go for a try as the taste was unlike other duck noodles, absolutely nice.

  Capitol LongKang Siham Malacca one of the famous snack "Longkang Siham" ("Longkang" is the homophony of "ditch", here it means "ditch". ''Siham" is the homonym of "clam" in Cantonese, which is "Fresh clams", "blood cockles" or "mud cockles".) Of course, you have to come for a pilgrimage.     Ban Lee Siang Satey Celup πŸ‘ “Satay” Malacca has definitely upgraded and improvised their version over the years and become “Satay Celup”  Its actually a combination of Lok-Lok and steamboat where the only difference is that you drop all those ingredients into a hot boiling pot of satay gravy instead.   Similar to having buffet steamboat, just take the silver tray and proceed to the food counter then pick whichever you want, ingredients selection varies such as fish ball, pork ball, pork innards, pork slice, bacon, brown squid, crab stick, lobster ball and many more.  Each stick of satay celup consists of a flat rate (RM0.90), other premium ingredients will be charged for much higher prices and indicated with a different color on the edge of the stick (red, blue, black).
